I’M RUNNING FOR ROCK HILL SCHOOL BOARD — DISTRICT 3, SEAT 2!
After much thought, prayer, and conversations with people throughout our community, I have decided to step forward and become a candidate for the Rock Hill School Board, District 3, Seat 2.
I’m running because I believe the strength of our schools begins with the students we serve and the teachers who serve them every day. Every student deserves more than a seat in a classroom—they deserve an education that challenges them, supports them, discovers their potential, and prepares them to succeed in college, a career, the military, or wherever their future takes them. No student should be overlooked, underestimated, or allowed to fall through the cracks.
And we cannot put students first without standing behind the people who teach them.
Our teachers are not simply employees of a school district. They are professionals who shape lives, inspire possibilities, and help build the future of our community. They deserve to be respected, heard, supported, and given the resources and working environment they need to do what they entered this profession to do—TEACH.
We must work to recruit great teachers, retain great teachers, support our current educators, and create schools where talented people want to build their careers. When teachers succeed, students have a greater opportunity to succeed.
Parents deserve to be heard. Staff members deserve to be valued. Taxpayers deserve accountability. And our community deserves School Board leadership willing to listen, ask difficult questions, make responsible decisions, and work together to get results.
For me, this campaign is not about a title.
It is about service. It is about our teachers. It is about our students. And it is about the future of Rock Hill.
I want to bring my leadership experience, commitment to accountability, and love for this community to the School Board while keeping the focus where it belongs—on providing every student the opportunity to succeed.
Over the coming weeks, I look forward to sharing more about who I am, why I’m running, and my vision for our schools. Most importantly, I look forward to listening to you.
I humbly ask for your prayers, your support, and ultimately, your vote.
